Due to heavy rain, the World Professional Chuckwagon Association (WPCA) Championship Sunday races at the Wainwright Stampede have been canceled.
The WPCA extends its sincere appreciation to the Wainwright Stampede Committee for their extensive efforts, hard work, and commitment throughout the event.
Following three completed nights of competition, Rae Croteau Jr. posted the fastest aggregate time and will be officially recognized as the 2026 Wainwright Stampede Champion.
The WPCA thanks the fans, drivers, sponsors, volunteers, and the Wainwright community for their support and understanding as weather conditions made it impossible to complete the final day of racing.
