The World Professional Chuckwagon Association and Real Country 910AM will continue to deliver fans the WPCA Pro Tour presented by GMC after an extended broadcast agreement was confirmed last month.
Real Country 910AM is a radio station in Drumheller, AB that broadcasts a country format.
WPCA fans can tune into Real Country 910AM in their vehicles, at home, through the Radio Player Canada App or through the live streaming link at www.realcountry910.ca.
“Chuckwagon racing fans are among the most passionate sports fans” says WPCA Chuckwagon Commentator and Historian Billy Melville. “The radio show is the fans most direct connection to the tour and in some cases, it’s as much a part of the listeners lives as the competitors themselves.”
Billy has been approached by fans who have expressed an interest in listening to the broadcasts including two people who listen every night and have 15 years of results.
The first broadcast of the 2023 race season will air on May 31st at 7:00pm from the Grande Prairie Stompede.
