With a cancelled season in 2020 and an abbreviated season in 2021 in the rear view mirror, the WPCA is moving forward and committed to ensuring fans continue to experience the sport they love, while giving chuckwagon drivers the opportunity to be part of the sports premiere tour.
The WPCA Pro Tour presented by GMC typically consists of 36 full time driver members. For 2022, 35 drivers have taken out a full season membership, opening up the opportunity for other drivers to participate.
During the off season, a team of WPCA driver directors created a unique program that will not only increase the excitement for fans, it will allow permit drivers to compete at selected shows as predetermined by the WPCA and the participating host committees.
A FEW CHANGES
At some shows fans will be witnessing as many as 12 heats per night, up from the traditional 9 heats. Permit drivers will fill these heats or any heats where drivers are wanted to fill a traditional 9 heat race night.
In the past, a run-off was held at the end of the season where drivers would race to qualify for a spot on the following year’s tour. In 2022, the top 34 wagons, permit drivers included, will have an entire season to earn a full time spot on the 2023 WPCA Pro Tour. Tour spots will be awarded based on the 2022 world standings. روليت فرنسي

PERMIT DRIVER?

Permit drivers will have the opportunity to race at every show based on qualification; in addition to shows where drivers are needed to fill extra heats.
