WPCA ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR JUDGES AND RACE PERSONNEL

The World Professional Chuckwagon Association is now accepting application forms for both NEW and RETURNING judges and race personnel for the 2023 WPCA Pro Tour.

The form is available by contacting the WPCA office at office@wpca.com

The positions available include:

1. BARREL JUDGES - Responsible for identifying penalties in the infield and barreling area;
2. CORNER JUDGE - Responsible for identifying penalties on specific corners and along the backstretch and homestretch;
3. CAMERA OPERATOR - Films and records the races around each turn;
4. RACE SECRETARY - Records the running times and assists with the operation during the races;
5. RACE TIMER - The Race Timer is responsible for starting the timing system once the horn sounds and ensuring all times are accurate and communicated to the respective barrel judge. The Race Timer is responsible for communicating times to the race secretary;
6. INFIELD CAMERA - The Infield Camera Operator films the races in the infield and barreling area.
