With 4 events down in the 5 event Team Series, Team Strathmore looks to be well on their way to winning the Western Retailers Cup.
Team Strathmore drivers Jason Glass, Kris Molle, Chad Fike and Chance Bensmiller have combined for a total of 2201.5 points and currently lead Team Century Downs who have 2148.
Glass is currently ranked 3rd in the World Point Standings while Fike is 5th. Both are expected to be running tough at the finals with Glass chasing a World Title and the Winners Zone Championship while Fike loaded with 2 good outfits and is also gunning for the $75,000.00 Winners’ Zone Dash for Cash.
Team Century Downs may not have home track advantage, however, they do have the hottest driver in the sport in Chanse Vigen. Vigen has recorded multiple day money runs and show championships in 2023. He is also in a battle with Jamie Laboucane to win the World Championship and will be on top of his game. Dustin Gorst, Layne MacGillivray and Jordie Fike complete Team Century.
ABOUT THE TEAM SERIES
The team series was built around the Western Wear Industry with brand leaders Wrangler and Roper the main supporters.
The team point totals are comprised of all the driver points earned at the participating events where western wear retailers operate and they also are the teams. (Grande Prairie, Ponoka, Strathmore, Rocky Mountain House and Century Downs.)
5 teams consisting of 4 drivers per team are competing for points with the winning team awarded $20,000.00 and the Western Retailers Cup.
