The WPCA is excited to announce the lineup of 2026 Permit Drivers! These competitors will kick off the season in Grande Prairie and Bonnyville, where they’ll battle for points and the chance to join the WPCA Pro Tour for the remainder of the year. The top four drivers in points after these two shows will officially qualify for the 2026 WPCA season.
Automatic Permits – 2026 Qualifying Shows
The following drivers finished the 2025 season in 32nd–36th place, earning an automatic permit for the first two shows of 2026:
- Dean Dreger
- Roger Moore
- Cody Ridsdale
Note: Josh Hrynyk has chosen not to return for the 2026 season, and we wish him the very best of luck moving forward and hope to see him back on tour in the near future.
Approved Permit Drivers – Grande Prairie & Bonnyville
The following five drivers have been approved to compete for a 2026 tour position:

6. Gage Flad
7. Dallas Dyck
8. Ryan Baptiste
After the opening two qualifying shows, if any current tour member withdraws, the first call will go to the 5th-place permit qualifier.
