The World Professional Chuckwagon Racing (WPCA) is the highest level of professional chuckwagon racing in North America. The WPCA is looking for a part-time bookkeeper. The position requires 5 hours on average/week; however availability requirements will vary.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year experience with Sage required;
Excel proficiency;
Detail oriented, with high degree of accuracy;
Experience in not-for-profits;
Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience;
Motivated and a self-starter;
Flexibility in availability;
Strong communication skills;
Bachelor’s degree or accounting designation (preferred).
Responsibilities:
GST & Payroll remittances;
Payroll;
Invoicing, accounts payable/receivable;
CERB applications;
Weekly bookkeeping (accrual and cash-basis);
Generate reports for the Board of Directors;
Monthly bank reconciliations;
Preparing year-end financials for the annual review/audit;
