UFA Co-operative Ltd (UFA) and the World Professional Chuckwagon Association (WPCA) recently announced a new partnership that recognizes UFA as the Official Fuel & Farm Supplier of the WPCA.
The relationship between UFA and the WPCA is a natural fit as both organizations work hard to support rural living and the values that come along with that. UFA and the WPCA are also committed to supporting youth and have teamed up to create the UFA ROOKIE RACER program.
At the upcoming tour stops, starting in High River, parents can enter their youth ages 5-12 through the WPCA website for a chance to be one of the lucky 10 chosen per event for a one-of-a-kind, behind the scenes experience as a UFA Rookie Racer. UFA Rookie Racer winners will also receive tickets to the event along with an exclusive UFA Rookie Racer T-Shirt.
“I love sharing good news and we are really excited about this program” says Kimberly MacDonald the Manager of Community Investment, for UFA, “With UFA being the Official Fuel & Farm Supplier to the WPCA, we know it is important to create an opportunity to share our passion for events like this, with youth in our communities.”
Aspiring UFA Rookie Racers will have the opportunity to enter for WPCA events in High River, Strathmore, Dawson Creek, Rocky Mountain House and the Century Downs World Finals.
