Calgary, Alberta – The Ponoka Stampede will host the 2024 World Professional Chuckwagon Association Finals after a one-year agreement was recently signed between both parties.
In an announcement at the 2024 Ponoka Stampede WPCA Tarp Auction on Friday, May 3rd, Ponoka Stampede Chuckwagon director Jim Harbidge confirmed the details of the agreement.
The Wild West WPCA World Chuckwagon Finals will commence on August 28th and run through September 1st. The WPCA Finals in Ponoka will be the final event of a scheduled 9-event season. The 5-day finals will conclude with a championship dash to close out the 2024 WPCA race season.
