WPCA driver Cody Ridsdale is officially off the market. The 34 year old wagon driver tied the knot in Mexico on March 22nd when he married long time partner Katrina Berry.

Surrounded by family and friends, with the bride donned in a beautiful white wedding dress, Cody and Katrina exchanged vows on a beach in Playa del Carmen. While their wedding day officially titled them as husband and wife, the adventures taking place beyond the alter are just as special.

The couple have been seen fishing, cliff diving, sun tanning and enjoying Long Island Ice Teas.  It’s been a special time for Cody and Katrina and the celebrations don’t appear to be stopping anytime soon with new experiences on the horizon.

Cody and Katrina, who is an equine therapist and Barrel Racer, make their home in Fairview, Alberta.  Cody is a 2nd generation wagon driver who won the WPCA Medicine Hat show in 2018. Their relationship goes far beyond husband and wife.  They are best friends and work together in striving to achieve great things for both Ridsdale Racing and their new businesses Homestretch Horse Transport.

With the WPCA race season fast approaching, Cody and Katrina will soon move from the sun and sand to training thoroughbreds in preparation for night 1 of the 2022 WPCA Pro Tour in Grande Prairie.

In 2019, when the WPCA last raced in Grande Prairie, Cody entered the track as Cody and Katrina. A lot has happened since then. In 2021 Cody proposed to Katrina and on May 25, 2022, when Cody hits the track in Grande Prairie it will no longer be just Cody and Katrina, it will be the Ridsdales.
