The 2024 chuckwagon racing season has come to an end and another piece of history has been written. Thousands of miles have been traveled and over 400 races have been run. The horses are now back running in the fields and the final chapter for this year is on the horizon in the form of the WPCA Awards Banquet.
The 2024 Awards Banquet will be held at the Carriage House Inn in Calgary, Alberta on Saturday October 19th.
The WPCA Awards will honor drivers, outriders and people who have made a positive impact on the WPCA in a wide range of categories. Some of the awards include World Champion Driver (Sponsored by GMC), World Champion Outrider (Sponsored by Connect First Credit Union), Media Person of the Year (Sponsored by Billy Melville Productions), Clean Driver Award (Sponsored by KMC Sales), Judging Award (Sponsored by RJames Western Star) and the Equine Outfit Of Excellence (Sponsored by Import Tool Corp).
The Chuckwagon Person of the Year and many other competition and special recognition awards will be presented.
