Calgary, AB — The World Professional Chuckwagon Association (WPCA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Zane Nolin as president, effective early September.
Nolin has served the past year as a member of the WPCA Board of Directors and now steps into the presidency with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the sport. His leadership promises to bring both stability and a fresh perspective to the association as it continues to grow and evolve.
A proven leader with over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, Nolin has specialized in operations, sales, and executive leadership. Known for driving strategic growth and operational excellence, he has successfully led high-performing teams across diverse energy markets. His results-oriented approach and relationship-building skills have made him a trusted figure in a rapidly evolving industry.
Beyond his professional career, Nolin is a former rodeo competitor and a long-time advocate for the Western lifestyle, actively promoting Western events and culture. As a musician, he has even shared the stage with artists such as Dwight Yoakam and Paul Brandt.
When he’s not leading teams or performing, he can often be found fishing — an avid outdoorsman who finds inspiration in nature.
Above all, Nolin is a devoted father to his daughter, Abigail, who remains the center of his world and his greatest source of motivation.
Zane Nolin’s long-standing commitment to the chuckwagon community, combined with his professional and personal leadership experience, makes him an excellent fit for this role. We’re excited to see the direction he will help guide the WPCA in the years ahead.
