Due to the overwhelming popularity of the newly introduced Rookie Racer last year, UFA and the WPCA are excited to announce that this popular program is back for 2024!
Launched in 2023, the UFA Rookie Racer program offers children the opportunity to experience the sport of chuckwagon racing up close and personal not only trackside, but behind the scenes with the drivers and their horses as well.
Last year over 50 children participated in the UFA Rookie Racer program and this year the number of participants will increase.
HOW TO ENTER YOUR CHILD
WPCA fans can enter their Rookie Racers (ages 5 -12) for the WPCA Pro Tour event of their choice. At each participating WPCA Pro Tour event, 10 lucky Rookie Racers will be randomly drawn from all the entries to meet and spend time with a popular WPCA driver, see the barns and meet their equine athletes.
The Rookie Racers will receive and exclusive UFA Rookie Racer T-Shirt, Photo with a WPCA Driver as well as his Autograph.
