It was another perfect night of WPCA Chuckwagon Racing in Strathmore on Sunday night as night three of the Strathmore Stampede was run off in front of a full house. For the third consecutive night heat number 7 had produced the top time on the night, and it was again Ross Knight who won his second day money in three nights with the fast time of the race meet so far with a 1:14.69.

From barrel position number 2 in the 7th heat, Knight and his Premium Ag Solutions outfit won the top cheque of the evening by 79 one-hundreds of a second over former Strathmore Stampede Champion Obrey Motowylo.. Kris Molle, Chad Fike and Jamie Laboucane made out the top five on night number three.

The day money run has put Ross Knight back on yop of the overall aggregate standings with a three-day combined time of 3:47.29. That’s puts him just shy of 1 full second ahead of Chad Fike who was the overall leader at the start of the day.  Jamie Laboucane moved up into third place overall, with Dayton Sutherland and Darcy Flad in fourth and fifth place respectively. The driver posting the best 4-day aggregate time after tomorrow afternoon’s run will be crowned the 2023 Strathmore Heritage Days Stampede champion.

The finals of Strathmore Stampede can be heard on Monday afternoon, August 7, 2023 at 3:00pm ET, 2:00pm CT and 100pm MT on Real Country 910am. As well, fans can watch the races live on the watch.wpca.comstreaming platform.
