Jason Glass – First Rangeland Derby Day Money Run Of 2025 On Night 7 In Calgary

Coming off barrel number 2 in the 8th heat, Glass won the day money by 89 one-hundredths of a second over 2019 champion Logan Gorst. Darcy Flad grabbed third money on the night, Obrey Motowylo was fourth and Chanse Vigen rounded out the top five for the evening.
With two nights left for drivers to get inside the top three and a spot in Sunday’s Championship Final Heat, it is still Chanse Vigen who continues to lead the overall aggregate standings with a seven-day total of 8:28.46. Vigen now has a 3.37 second lead over Jamie Laboucane who sits firmly in second place overall even after receiving another two-second penalty for an outrider missing a barrel. The day money run has vaulted Jason Glass up from seventh place overall into that ecer so important third place overall, with Logan Gorst and Obrey Motowylo in close pursuit, both within a second of a possible spot in the the top three overall.
The top 3 in the aggregate after Saturday, July 12, 2025, will go into the championship final heat. The winner of the championship final heat will be declared the 2025 Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby presented by Play Alberta Champion.
