Jason Glass – Second Day Money Run In Three Runs In Grande Prairie

Day 3 of the Grande Prairie Stompede Championship in Grande Prairie, Alberta, was again run under partly cloudy skies and a warm 25°C. Track conditions were very good once again, and some faster races were witnessed by the Grande Prairie fans. Two-time Grande Prairie Stompede champion Jason Glass was the day money winner with the Alberta AG Cente Fast Time of the Night for the second time in three runs.
.Coming off barrel number 2 in heat number 11, Glass, driving the Birchcliff Energy Ltd. outfit posted a time of 1:16.01 and won the day money by 36 one-hundredths of a second over Preston Faithful who placed 2nd overall on the night. Logan Gorst was third, while Rae Croteau Jr. and Vern Nolin split fourth and fith on night number three.
Jason Glass regains the lead in the overall aggregate standings with a three-day time of 3:48.68. Preston Faithfull moves up into second place overall, 1.79 seconds behind Jason Glass, with Obrey Motowylo and Luke Tournier completing the top four overall after three runs. Rae Croteau Jr. still sits in fifth place overall, just 21 one-hundredths of a second out of the last qualifying spot in Sunday’s final.
The top wagon in the aggregate after Saturday’s run will receive the Ralph Vigen Memorial Award and the use of a 2025 GMC Truck for one year courtesy of Summit Fleet. The top 4 drivers in the aggregate after Saturday night will go into the $40,000.00 Championship Final Heat on Sunday where the winner will receive a big winner’s cheque and the 2025 Grande Prairie Stompede Championship.
