Jamie Laboucane – Alberta AG Centre Fast Time of the Night Winner On Night 2 In Bonnyville

From barrel number three in heat number 5, Laboucane had the fast run on the evening by a mere three one-hundreds of a seconds over Kris Molle who placed second on the night. Layne Flad, Tuff Dreger and Vern Nolin filled out the top five times for night number two.
A second place run on the night was good enough to lift Kris Molle into first place in the overall aggregate standings with a two-day combined time of 2:32.47. Day 1 winner Jason Glass slipped to second place overall, six-tenths of a second behind overall leader Kris Molle. Alberta AG Centre Fast Time of the Night winner Jamie Laboucane moved from twenty-second place at the start of the day into third place overall, with Layne Flad filling out the top four overall. Wade Salmond is in fifth place overall just thirteen one-hundreds of a second out of the fourth and final qualifying spot for Sunday’s Sudden Death Championship Final Heat.
The top four drivers in the aggregate standings after Saturday night will go into the Championship Final Heat on Sunday afternoon. Winner of Sunday’s championship final will be declared the champion of the 2025 Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship.
