The 2023 Century Downs Racetrack and Casino World Finals Tarp Auction along with the actual World Finals in August continues to get interesting and the race season hasn’t even started yet.
It was confirmed Wednesday that there will now be 32 drivers up for auction on Friday at the Century Downs Racetrack and Casino Tarp Auction along with 4 Wild Card spots.
Who these 4 drivers representing the Wild Card spots will be, won’t be known until closer to the actual World Finals August 23 – August 27.
The top 4 permit drivers among all of the permit drivers prior to the Finals will be rewarded with those 4 spots.
What some permit drivers may find attractive about this opportunity is not only the added prize money at the finals, but the opportunity to earn points towards their position in the World Standings. Points that determine which permit drivers automatically earn full member status on the WPCA Pro Tour in 2024.
