Night 4 of the Grande Prairie Stompede Championship was again run under very good racetrack conditions, partly cloudy skies and a cool 15°C. It was the last day for qualifying for Sunday’s sudden death championship final heat, and when the night wrapped up, Jason Glass, Preston Faithful, Obrey Motowylo and Logan Gorst will all run in Sunday’s $40,000.00 Championship Final Heat. It will be the first Championship Final Heat for driver Preston Faithful in a WPCA Pro Tour stop.

Jason Glass, driving the Birchcliff Energy Ltd. outfit, qualified for Sunday’s final in first place overall with a four-day combined time of 5:07.21 and will receive the Ralph Vigen Memorial Award for having the best aggregate time, and a year’s use of a 2025 GMC Truck compliments of Summit Fleet. Preston Faithful qualified in second place overall, Obrey Motowylo hung onto third place overall, with Logan Gorst grabbing the fourth and final place in Sunday’s championship final. Rae Croteau Jr, missed out of the final four, finishing fifth overall and missing the championship final by just 25 one-hundredths of a second.

On the night, Chad Fike and his TOMCO Group of Companies outfit won the Alberta AG Cente Fast Time of the Night with a time of 1:17.30 from barrel number 3 in heat number 10. That put him 31 one-hundredths of a second faster than Obrey Motowylo who placed second, followed by Logan Gorst, Jamie Laboucane and Preston Faithful who completed the top five runs on the evening. Outrider Tyson Whitehead was injured and had to be taken to hospital.
