Kurt Bensmiller – Day Money Run On Night 4 In Dawson Creek

It was the fourth perfect night weather wise in Dawson Creek, British Columbia at the 2024 Battle of the North Championship, and the final four have been set for Sunday’s $30,000.00 Championship Final Heat. When things shook out, Jason Glass, Rae Croteau Jr., Chad Fike and Jamie Laboucane survived the cut and will compete in what should be a thrilling championship final at the Battle of the North.
Reigning Calgary Stampede Champion Jason Glass finished first in overall aggregate standings with a four-day combined time of 4:57.11 and will get the use of a 2024 GMC Truck for 1 year courtesy of Banister GM Dawson Creek for his efforts. Glass will be joined by defending champion Rae Croteau Jr., Chad Fike and Jamie Laboucane in Sunday’s Championship Final. Obrey Motowylo finished in 5th place overall and just missed Sunday’s final by 1.8 seconds. All four drivers in the Championship Final Heat are inside the top five in the World Standings.
On the night, from barrel number 2 in the 8th heat, Kurts Bensmiller’s Triple Threat Diesel outfit was the top wagon of the night by a 19 one-hundreds of a second margin over Rae Croteau Jr. who placed second on the night. Kris Mille placed third, while Jamie Laboucane and Cody Ridsdale placed fourth and fifth on the night.
