THE FORMAT
The chuckwagon driver with the best Aggregate Time over the first four nights is recognized as the Ponoka Stampede Aggregate Champion. The aggregate champion receives a one-year lease on a GMC SIERRA truck sponsored by SUMMIT FLEET.
The top 8 chuckwagons in the Aggregate Standings after the first 4 days of racing qualify for the Semi-Final round where the drivers (starting from the top down through 8th place) get to choose their heat (Heat 7 or 9) and their barrel position (Barrel 1 through 4) for the semi-finals. The top 4 times from the semi-final round will go into the Tommy Dorchester $75,000.00 Championship final heat. The winner will be recognized as the Ponoka Stampede Champion.
