Get to Know More About the Outrider

A fourth-generation chuckwagon competitor, Wyatt is following his father – chuckwagon driver Dallas Dyck – to the WPCA Pro Tour in 2025.

The 2024 season was a special season for Wyatt, winning five shows on the CPCA circuit behind Logan Gorst, helping Gorst sweep both the CPCA Championship and the CPCA High Point Championship. For the second consecutive year Wyatt was the reserve champion for the CPCA outriding title. He also made his debut as a chuckwagon driver in 2024, posting four top ten runs which includes three runs that cracked the top five. A tenth place overall finish at the Cold Lake championship being his best of the year.

Wyatt made his debut ride on his sixteenth birthday at Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby in 2019, riding behind Dale Mitsuing in the Chuckwagon 101 heat, and rode the second half of the CPCA race season. After his first full year of competition in 2021, Wyatt was named the CPCA Top Rookie Outrider. He competed at the WPCA World Chuckwagon Finals at Century Downs in 2023.

Wyatt credits his father Dallas as being his biggest influence in the sport of chuckwagon racing. A two sport athlete, Wyatt plays hockey for the Vermillion Tigers of the North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League. He works for the Vermillion Stockyards in the off season, is single, and makes his home in Dewberry, Alberta.
