After a one-and-a-half-year hiatus, Vern returned full-time in 2025, primarily competing on the CPCA circuit. He won Beardy’s & Okemasis Sports Days, qualified for four Dash for Cash Heats, and recorded 36 top-ten runs, including 21 top-five runs.
Since joining the WPCA in 2016, Nolin has won four show championships, including two Ponoka Stampede titles, along with three straight aggregate titles at Ponoka. He is a two-time WPCA Clean Drive Award winner, the WPCA Most Improved Driver in 2018, and has qualified for the Calgary Stampede Championship Final Heat three times.
On the Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association (CPCA) circuit, Vern was a four-time CPCA Champion Driver, 2012 High Point Driver, 2004 Most Improved Driver, and captured 13 CPCA show championships. He qualified for the CPCA Championship Dash four consecutive years and eight times in eleven years.
A four-time CPCA Champion Driver with 13 career wins, Nolin lives in Dewberry, Alberta, with his wife Lisa Bensmillerand their seven children – Brett, Brendan, Cruise, Paynton, August, Sienna, and Madelyn.
