A rising talent in the sport, Tyson was named the 2025 WPCA Top Rookie Outrider. He began the season in the Chuckwagon 101 demonstration race, rode at Teepee Creek contributing to Jordie Fike’s track record run, and later joined Logan Gorst’s outfit before finishing the year with Chad Fike.
Tyson got his start working for Jordie Fike in 2020 and made his first official WPCA ride at the 2023 Century Downs World Finals. He competed in his first partial season in 2024. A former steer rider and mini bronc competitor, Tyson is completing his electrical apprenticeship and works as a Zamboni driver in Blackie, Alberta. He lives in High River and enjoys roping and riding horses in the off-season.
