Get to Know More About the Outrider

After three seasons on the Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association (CPCA) circuit, Ryan made a strong impression in his first year on the WPCA Pro Tour. He won the prestigious Ponoka Stampede while riding for Logan Gorst and outrode in three Championship Final Heats.

A former Relay Racer, he began outriding in 2019 after being encouraged by CPCA driver Leslie Memnook, debuting in 2022 and earning CPCA Top Rookie honours. In 2023, he won his first show at his hometown Frog Lake meet outriding for Luke Tournier and was named CPCA Most Improved Outrider at season’s end.

Ryan lives on the Frog Lake First Nation, works as a supervisor for Gabbez Pipefitting Inc., serves as a hunting guide, and has also done some movie stunt work.
