After narrowly missing the 2024 title, Rory Gervais delivered a dominant 2025 season, winning his fourth World Outriding Championship. He captured show titles at the Medicine Hat Stampede, Calgary Stampede, and Battle of the Rockies with Chanse Vigen, and earned a record eighth Calgary Stampede Outstanding Outrider award.
In 12 seasons on the World Professional Chuckwagon Association tour, Rory has never finished lower than fourth. His résumé includes three Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby titles, three Ponoka Stampede championships, and 38 career show wins. He began in 2008 on the Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association (CPCA) circuit, where he was a two-time CPCA Champion Outrider.
Rory now farms and ranches and works in oilfield maintenance with L & L Oilfield. Rory lives in Mervin, Saskatchewan, with his wife Jamie and their three children—Fletcher, Reece, and Tucker.
