One of the sport’s most accomplished all-around competitors, Roger Moore has captured four WPCA show titles, highlighted by his 2013 Ponoka Stampede victory. His career includes honours such as the Herman Flad Memorial Award, the WPCA Clean Drive Award, and multiple horses named to WPCA Equine Outfits of Excellence. He was also the 1997 Calgary Stampede Top Rookie Driver and had a horse named to the Stampede’s Equine Athlete of Excellence in 2015.
Moore career began onthe Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association (CPCA) circuit, winning ten show championships and qualifying for the 2010 CPCA Championship Final. He was the CPCA High Point Rookie Driver in 1994 and received the CPCA Family of the Year in 2007.
Also an accomplished outrider, Moore won two Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby titles, four aggregate championships, and was a six-time CPCA Champion Outrider. Roger has four children—Kristie, Rochelle, Corey, and Kleyson, lives in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan, and works as a truck driver and CAT operator.
