Get to Know More About the Outrider

2024 will see Quaid return to the WPCA Pro Tour after spending the past three seasons on the Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association (CPCA) circuit. The 2023 season saw Quaid make a clean sweep of the two Lloydminster stops when he won the North American Chuckwagon Championship (NACC) and the CPCA Finals behind his father Luke Tournier. He also rode for dash-for-cash winners at the 100th anniversary of the Meadow Lake Stampede behind Danny Ringuette, and at the Poundmaker Cree Nation show behind Luke Tournier.

Quaid is a two-time winner of the Rod Glass Memorial Award for Most Improved Outrider, and won the Ponoka Stampede Championship in 2013. He is the son of chuckwagon great Luke Tournier, and brother-in-law to driver Logan Gorst. Quaid enjoys hockey and hunting in the off season. Quaid and Desiree have three boys – Kayden, Lukas and Walker – and make their home in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan.
