A new outrider to the WPCA, Mitch rode a limited schedule in 2024 behind the likes of Todd McCracken and Evan Magee. Born and raised on a dairy farm in Southern Ontario, Mitch headed west in 2018 and found a job with Mitch Sutherland. He fell in love with the sport and decided to try outriding. After some help with the finer points of outriding from Trey MacGillivray, Mitch made his debut ride at the Battle of the North behind Gage Flad, and made a penalty-free ride. Mitch works as a truck diver for Hitch’em Oilfield Hauling in the off season, and enjoys hockey, sking, movies and anything outdoors. Originally from Palmerston, Ontario, Mitch is single and now makes his home in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
