Get to Know More About the Outrider

An up and coming outrider on the WPCA Pro Tour, Jory started his chuckwagon career following in the footsteps of his older brother Julian as a barn hand for driver Ross Knight in 2021. This ultimately led to Ross and his son Casey Knight – former World Champion Outrider – recognizing Jory’s potential soon started encouraging and mentoring him to outride. Just three years later Jory made his debut ride at the 2023 Dewberry World Chuckwagon Races behind Ross Knight, rode the Chuckwagon 101 Race at the 2023 Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby behind Chance Flad, and won his first show at the 2023 Strathmore Stampede behind Ross Knight. He finished the year in 16th place in the World Standings. Jory credits Ross and Casey Knight as being the most influential in his budding outriding career.

Outside of chuckwagon racing, Jory is an honor student at St. Walburg School, and an accomplished athlete, competing in both Badminton and Volleyball, where his Volleyball team made it to the Provincial Championships last year. Jory enjoys the outdoors, hunting, riding horses and spending time with family and friends. Jory is single and makes his home in St. Walburg, Saskatchewan.
