Get to Know More About the Outrider

Since making his debut in 2023, Jory Bronken has emerged as one of the WPCA’s top young outriders, climbing the standings each season. His improvement was recognized in 2024 when he earned the Rod Glass Memorial Award as Most Improved Outrider.He made an immediate impact, helping Ross Knight win the Strathmore Stampede in his rookie year, and has since been a steady presence behind both Ross Knight and Roger Moore.

Jory began as a barn hand in 2021 and made his debut at the Dewberry World Chuckwagon Races, later riding at the Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby. Now studying Animal Bioscience at the University of Saskatchewan, he enjoys hunting and the outdoors. He lives in St. Walburg, Saskatchewan.
