Get to Know More About the Outrider

After making his debut as an outrider in 2023, Jory has shown steady improvement and has been a model of consistency throughout the 2024 season. Jory was a mainstay behind Ross Knight and Roger Moore throughout the 2024 WPCA Pro Tour and at season’s end was the recipient of the Rod Glass Memorial Award winner for Most Improved Outrider.

Jory started his chuckwagon career following in the footsteps of his older brother Julian as a barn hand for driver Ross Knight in 2021. Jory made his debut ride at the 2023 Dewberry World Chuckwagon Races behind Ross Knight, rode the Chuckwagon 101 Race at the 2023 Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby behind Chance Flad, and won his first show at the 2023 Strathmore Stampede behind Ross Knight. 

After graduating with honors from St. Walburg School last year, Jory is atending the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon majoring in animal bioscience. Jory enjoys the outdoors, hunting, riding horses and spending time with family and friends. Jory is single and makes his home in St. Walburg, Saskatchewan.
