A fourth-generation chuckwagon competitor, Jordie began the season as a permit driver needing a top-four finish among permit drivers to retain his place on the WPCA Pro Tour. He rose to the challenge, climbing to 18th in the World Standings by season’s end—a 17-position improvement from 2024.
Jordie recorded 16 top-ten runs, including a day-money run at the Teepee Creek Stampede and six additional top-five runs. His top results included placing two wagons in the top ten at Teepee Creek and an eighth-place aggregate finish at the Grande Prairie Stompede.
The WPCA’s Top Rookie Driver in 2010, Jordie was just the fourth driver to qualify for the Calgary Stampede in his rookie season. He began on the CPCA circuit, winning the 2009 Saskatoon Exhibition Derby and earning both Most Improved and Most Sportsmanlike Driver honours.
Chuckwagon racing runs deep in his family, with roots tracing back to his great-grandfather Wilbur David, and including his grandfather Ron David and brother Chad Fike. A former WHL player with the Portland Winterhawks, Jordie and his wife Tamara have two daughters and reside in High River, Alberta.
