Get to Know More About the Driver

A rookie driver on the 2024 WPCA Pro Tour, Brett will make his driving debut at the Grande Prairie Stompede. A second generation chuckwagon driver, Brett is the oldest son of former driver Vern Nolin and older brother to current outrider Brendan Nolin.

Brett started his chuckwagon career as an outrider on the Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association (CPCA) circuit in 2013. In his five year outriding career he captured 3 CPCA show championships outriding for his father Vern, his uncle Shane Nolin, and Chance Bensmiller, and helped his dad Vern win two CPCA Championships. He moved up into the judges stand and started judging with the WPCA in 2019. When Rae Croteau Jr. returned to racing in 2022, Brett began travelling with Croteau and thorugh Rae’s help and encouragement will find himself driving on a Permit in 2024.

Brett works as a farrier and graduated from the Oklahoma State Horseshoeing School in 2017. He is single and makes his home in Dewberry, Alberta.
