Chance Bensmiller – Number One Everywhere After Night 3 In Strathmore

For the third consecutive night it was perfect conditions both weather wise and racetrack wise at the Strathmore Stampede on Sunday night. Some great races were witnessed by a capacity crowd, and Chance Bensmiller, posted the fast time of the race meet so far with a run of 1:15.28.
From barrel position number 4 in the 4th heat, Bensmiller, driving the Core Ag Inputs rig was 37 one-hundredths of a second faster than Kris Molle who also ran in heat number four, but placed second after a once second penalty. Chance Flad was third, Layne Flad was fourth and Wade Salmond completed the top 5 on the night.
The day money run vaulted Chance Bensmiller top the top of the leaderboard after 3 runs. He leads the overall aggregate standings with a three-day combined time of 3:49.46. That’s puts him 79 one-hundredths ahead of Kirk Sutherland, with two-time defending champion Kurt Bensmiler’s Tsuu T’ina in third. Former Strathmore Champion Obrey Motowylo holding down fourth and Kurt Bensmiller’s Versatile Energy Services wagon in fifth place overall. The driver posting the best 4-day aggregate time after Monday’s run will be crowned the 2021 Strathmore Heritage Days Stampede champion.
The finals of the of the Strathmore Stampede will be run at 1:00pm local time, but broadcast delayed on Monday, August 1, 2021 at 8:00pm ET, 7:00pm CT and 6:00pm MT on Rural Radio on SiriusXM Channel 147 Satellite Radio.
