WPCA AWARDS BANQUET & GALA SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 29th

It has been almost 3 years since the World Professional Chuckwagon Association celebrated success following a full season of racing, however, that is all about to change as the annual Awards Banquet and Gala is set to return.

The 2022 WPCA Awards Banquet and Gala will be held on October 29th at the Grey Eagle Casino in Calgary, Alberta.  The night of celebration will include award presentations, a meal, dance and an evening of connecting with fans, family and friends.

Layne MacGillivray was recognized as the WPCA World Champion Driver during the Century Downs Racetrack and Casino World Finals while WPCA Outrider Rory Gervais was announced as the World Outriding Champion for the 3rd time in his career.  Both Layne and Rory will be officially recognized and awarded for their success at the Grey Eagle Casino on October 29th.

Along with the World Champions there are many other people to be recognized. The Show Committee of the Year, Rookie Driver, Clean Driver, Most Improved Driver and Most Improved Outrider are just a few of them. Chuckwagon racing is all about the horses and the top horses in the WPCA will be recognized through the Import Tool Equine Outfit of Excellence.
