Personal Information

One of the elite  outriders in professional chuckwagon racing today, Rory is a two-time World Champion Outrider, has twice won the Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby, three times the Calgary Stampede Aggregate title, and twice won the Ponoka Stampede. He won the the Calgary Stampede's Outstanding Outrider Award an unprecedented five consecutive years, and in 2021 he won the Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship for the first time. Rory started his outriding career in 2008 on the Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association (CPCA) circuit. In just five years on the CPCA circuit, Rory twice was the CPCA Champion Outrider, and was the CPCA's High Point Rookie Outrider in 2008.

A farmer and rancher in the off season, Rory also works for as an oilfield maintenance worker for Ken's Oilfield, and enjoys team roping, hunting, fishing and hockey in his spare time. Rory and his wife Jamie have two daughters - Fletcher and Reece - and make their home in Mervin, Saskatchewan.
