Personal Information
The 2019 season saw Quaid win the first two shows of the season at the Grande Prairie Stompede behind his father Luke Tournier, the Saskatoon World Chuckwagon Races behind Chanse Vigen, and for the fifth consecutive year he placed inside the top five in the World Standings.
Quaid is a two-time winner of the Rod Glass Memorial Award for Most Improved Outrider, and has won fifteen show championships over his career, with the biggest win of his career to date was at the Ponoka Stampede Championship outriding for Roger Moore in 2013.
Quaid grew up around chuckwagon racing as a barn hand for his father and received the “Hardest Working Kid” award from the CPCA when his father competed there. He is the son of chuckwagon great Luke Tournier, and brother-in-law to driver Logan Gorst. Quaid enjoys hockey and hunting in the off season. Quaid and his girlfriend Desiree make their home in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan.
