Personal Information
A 3rd generation chuckwagon competitor, Gage is the son of driver Troy Flad, the grandson of former Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby Champion Herman Flad, and is the younger brother of former driver Blaid Flad.
2021 saw Gage ride primarily behind both of his father's wagons, and was able to pick up an additional ride behind Roy Romanow. Gage made his first ride behind his brother Blaid’s wagon in Medicine Hat in 2019 and also rode for his father Troy at different parts of the 2019 season. A student at Warburg High, Gage enjoys hockey, tea roping and doing leather work in the off season, is single and makes his home in Warburg, Alberta.
