Personal Information 
Farrell rejoin the WPCA Pro Tour in 2010 for the first time since 1998. The highlights of his career was riding the sudden death championship final heat at the Calgary Stampede for the first time behind Kirk Sutherland in 2010, and riding for Glen Ridsdale’s track record run at the Calgary Stampede in 1993. Farrell started his career in the Peace Country Chuckwagon and Chariot Association (PCCCA) made his debut ride behind Glen Somerville at Dawson Creek in 1982. Prior to outriding, Farrell worked as an exercise rider at the thoroughbred tracks in northern Alberta and even competed in all three rodeo rough stock events. In the off season, Farrell enjoys fishing, exercising, bead crafts, reading and listening to classic country music. Farrell has two children – Waylon and Joel –one grandchild and makes his home in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
