Personal Information
Jason received one of the WPCA’s Active Supporter Awards in 2011, is a two-time Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby champion, outrode for Jason Glass’ 2008 Calgary Stampede Aggregate winner, received the Rod Glass Memorial Award for most improved outrider in 2008, and was the WPCA’s Top Rookie Outrider in 2000. He was a staple behind Jason Glass’ outfit that won back-to-b ack World Chuckwagon Championships and the WPCA Pro Tour Championship in 2009. He also received the Dallas Dorchester Outrider Ambassador Award at the Ponoka Stampede in 2009 as well. He currently serves as the outrider director on the WPCA Board of Directors. Jason has a Petroleum Engineering Diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and works as a drilling superintendent for Pajak Engineering in the off season. A very career minded individual, Jason is single and takes part in weightlifting, hockey, competitive Muay Thai boxing, and has recently taken up team roping.
