Personal Information
Kris had his most successful year in terms of show wins came in 2010 when he won the Grande Prairie Stompede outriding for Rae Croteau Jr., the North American Chuckwagon Championship behind Luke Tournier, and the Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship outriding for Chad Harden. He won the 2009 Ponoka Stampede with Obrey Motowylo, the 2007 Rod Glass Memorial Award for most improved outrider and was the WPCA Top Rookie Outrider in 2006. Kris started his chuckwagon career as a barn hand for CPCA driver Brian Laboucane prior to joining Norm Cuthbertson's outfit where he got his start outriding. Kris attended Oklahoma State Horseshoeing School and is working towards becoming a farrier. Kris enjoys outdoor sports such as hunting, fishing and quading in the off season, is single and makes his home in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.
