Personal Information
A 4th generation wagon driver, Cody had a memorable rookie season on the 2016 WPCA Pro Tour. He posted 5 top ten runs, which included a day money run at the Ponoka Stampede. He qualified for the semi-final round at the Ponoka Stampede and ultimately earned a spot into the prestigious $50,000 Tommy Dorchester Championship Final Heat – named in honor of his great-grandfather. A penalty in the championship final cost Cody the buckle, but he finished the season by winning the buckle for being the WPCA Top Rookie Driver. Cody made his first start as a chuckwagon driver at the 2014 Dawson Creek Exhibition as a member of the Western Chuckwagon Association (WCA), and swept both the aggregate and the championship dash giving him his first win in his first start. A 4th generation chuckwagon driver, Cody's father is two-time World Champion Rick Fraser, his grandfather was former World and Calgary Stampede Champion Dave Lewis, and his great-grandfather is multi-time World and Calgary Stampede Champion Tommy Dorchester. Cody played 2 seasons with the Edmonton Wildcats Football Club of the Canadian Junior Football League. A Red Seal Welder by trade, Cody also enjoys hockey, sledding, and snow-boarding. Cody makes his home in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.
