Personal Information
Stan Waddell is one of the most personable drivers in professional chuckwagon racing today. He returns to WPCA Dodge Pro Tour after taking the 2009 season off. He was the inaugural winner of the Orville Strandquist Award for the top rookie driver at the Calgary Stampede in 1992. Stan started his career with the CPCA, where he holds the CPCA track record at Vermillion and won the CPCA High Point Rookie Driver in 1988. Prior to driving the big wagons, Stan drove pony chuckwagons for nine years and won several show titles and the Eastern Pony Chuckwagon Association championship as well. Stan has a civil engineering technologies degree, and owns and operates Alert Trucking - an oilfield trucking and rental company. Stan and his wife Tracy have a son, Coleman, and enjoy watching Clint Eastwood movies at their home in Duchess, Alberta.
